1. Booking & Confirmation
All bookings for DHL Trans Delivery Cargo Packers and Movers services are subject to availability and become confirmed only upon receipt of a 10% advance payment and signed service agreement.
- Inspection Requirement: A mandatory physical or virtual inspection is required for all relocation services to provide an accurate quote.
- Quote Validity: All quotes are valid for 15 days from the date of issue.
- Volume Changes: If actual volume exceeds estimate by 15%+, we reserve the right to revise pricing.
- Confirmation: Services confirmed only after advance payment and signed agreement.
2. Payment Terms
We operate on a transparent pricing model with no hidden charges.
- Advance: 10% advance required to secure booking date.
- Balance: 90% due on service completion day before unloading.
- Methods: Cash, bank transfer, UPI, cards (2% fee on cards).
- Price Changes: Quoted price fixed unless significant scope changes.
3. Cancellation Policy
Cancellation of confirmed bookings is subject to these charges:
- >72 hours before move: Full refund minus ₹500 fee
- 24-72 hours before move: 50% of advance forfeited
- <24 hours before move: Full advance non-refundable
- Move day no-show: Full quoted amount payable
Note: We'll make every effort to reassign your crew to minimize losses if cancellation occurs.
4. Liability & Insurance
Your peace of mind is our priority with comprehensive transit insurance.
- Standard Coverage: ₹10,00,000 included at no cost
- Enhanced Coverage: Up to ₹50,00,000 available (0.5% premium)
- Claims: Must be reported within 24 hours of delivery
- Exclusions: Cash, jewelry, documents, undeclared electronics
- Valuation: Claims settled at current market value
5. Packing & Handling
Professional techniques and premium materials ensure your belongings' safety.
- Trained professionals using industry-standard materials
- Furniture wrapped in protective blankets
- Fragile items individually wrapped in bubble wrap
- Electronics packed in original boxes with anti-static materials
- Customer-packed items not covered by insurance
- Furniture disassembly/reassembly included
6. Moving Day Procedures
For a smooth moving day, please adhere to these guidelines:
- Availability: Responsible adult must be present throughout
- Access: Clear path at both locations (permissions are your responsibility)
- Utilities: Water and electricity must be available
- Special Items: Declare high-value items in advance
- Delivery Window: Allow 2-hour flexibility for traffic
- Unloading: Placement decisions are your responsibility
7. Storage Services
Secure, climate-controlled facilities for short and long-term needs.
- Monthly billing in advance
- Minimum 15-day storage period
- Access by appointment (9 AM - 6 PM, Mon-Sat)
- Transit insurance continues during storage
- After 30 days non-payment, goods may be disposed
- Perishable/hazardous materials prohibited
8. Force Majeure
Not liable for failure due to circumstances beyond our control:
- Natural disasters
- Government actions/strikes
- War/terrorism/civil unrest
- Pandemics
- Major traffic disruptions
- Utility failures
We'll reschedule at earliest opportunity. Advance payments applied to new date.
9. Dispute Resolution
Committed to fair resolution through this process:
- Complaint: Submit in writing within 7 days of service
- Review: Acknowledge within 24 hours, resolve in 7 days
- Mediation: Bangalore Chamber of Commerce before legal action
- Documentation: Preserve all communications/evidence
10. Governing Law
Governed by laws of India. Legal action subject to Bangalore courts.
This document supersedes all prior agreements. We may modify terms with 30 days' notice. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
